Frozen wild blueberry jam with apples and orange zest

Ingredients

blueberries, wild frozen - 5 cups
apples, 2 cut to small cubes (optional, can be substituted with pears or other fruit)
sugar, organic  - 1/2 cup
zest of one orange or lemon (go for organic to avoid pesticides )
sea salt, 1/2 tea spoon
lemon juice, from 1 small lemon

Method

Put everything in small pot and bring to boil. Cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes. You may cook it longer to reduce it to your liking. It will be easier to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if you reduce it.

Note: due to low sugar content, this jam should be refrigerated.
